The Shaw Experience…

The Shaw Festival want its audience to have an amazing experience. In taking the Beyond the Stage Tour, we learned that even each play’s sets are carefully constructed.  They believe that the “eye” catches everything, from top to bottom. Our hosts called it the “Shaw Experience”, and in exploring the backstage sets, we could see how the set creators were dedicated to detail.

As I mentioned earlier, it takes over a year to create a set, and that’s not counting how long it took the set designers to learn their trade.

We couldn’t wait to see the “sets” in action! We had tickets for Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit and it was coming up soon.
