~ November 24th to December 31st, 2023 ~
There’s nothing like celebrating the Holidays at the Capitol Theatre!
From the much anticipated 27th Annual Festival of Lights and Trees to the beloved tradition of our Panto and a number of holiday concerts sprinkled through, the beautiful Capitol Theatre is ready to welcome guests of all ages to celebrate this season!
Jack – A Beanstalk Panto
A tangled up panto featuring an inquisitive young Jack
Our annual panto returns for another magical holiday season at the Theatre! Magic, murder, and mayhem lead the way in this world premiere re-telling of the classic fairytale. Featuring a hilarious harp, gregarious goose, and a whole lot of gold, this musical version of Jack won’t be like anything you’ve seen before.
Created exclusively for Capitol audiences, this world premiere production is written and directed by award-winning star of stage and screen, Rebecca Northan.
Capitol Theatre Festival of Lights and Trees
The Festival of Lights and Trees illuminates the holiday spirit.
Welcome to the Festival of Lights and Trees: an immersive fundraising experience that has been a community favourite since 1997, creating memories and becoming a holiday tradition for guests of all ages. Growing from a small event, with some of our amazing volunteers raffling off a few trees from the mainstage, the Festival of Lights and Trees now encompasses the entire building with tree decorations and wreaths being raffled off in support of the Capitol Theatre (thanks to our incredible team of volunteers and our generous sponsors!)
Holiday Concerts at the Capitol Theatre
